ILM 2007 Customization and Integration

Our heritage of being the original developer of idNexus – the predecessor to the Certificate Lifecycle Manager component of ILM 2007 – make us ideally suited to any project that requires ILM 2007 customization or integration with a range of other Identity products and technologies.

ILM 2007 provides a sophisticated API environment that includes a provisioning API, a notification API and a SQL API for direct access to the ILM data store. Further interoperability can be provided through directory synchronization management agents that allow ILM to integrate with over 20 different information repositories.

Here are some representative customizations that we’ve developed for our clients:

• Integration of ILM 2007’s Certificate Management infrastructure with European Mastercard Visa (EMV) standard compliant smart cards;
• Development of custom validators that are used as part of ILM workflows to validate enrolment information against Active Directory;
• Integration of ILM 2007 with third party OTP solutions such as Quest’s Defender;
• Integration of ILM 2007 with third party CAs such as Identrust using the ILM 2007 3rd party CA API;
• Customization of the ILM 2007 user interface; and
• Development of customized reporting and notification systems.

For all customizations, Avaleris follows a standard system development process of identifying the clients requirements, investigating alternatives, developing a prototype customization, testing, documenting the configuration, providing training and knowledge transfer and providing ongoing support and maintenance if required.
