Microsoft Announces ILM 2007 General Availability

Ottawa, May 14, 2007 - Avaleris® Inc. is pleased to promote Microsoft’s latest product offering in the Identity Solutions space - Identity Lifecycle Manager (ILM) 2007 - is now generally available world-wide, as of May 1, 2007.

Initially announced by Microsoft at the RSA Conference earlier this year, ILM 2007 integrates smart card & certificate lifecycle management, meta-directory and user provisioning into a single product offering that works across Microsoft Windows and other organizational systems.  The general availability release of ILM 2007 marks a significant milestone in Microsoft’s efforts over the last year to create a best-in-class Identity Management (IDA) product and roadmap to provide solutions for management of users, credentials, access and policies that automate identity lifecycle tasks.

Avaleris Uniquely Positioned to Provide ILM 2007 Expertise

Avaleris, a Microsoft IDA Systems Integration Partner, is a global provider of Identity Assurance professional services and integrated smart card / digital certificate based identity lifecycle management solutions using Microsoft IDA products including ILM 2007, Windows Server™ 2003 Certificate Services and Windows Server 2003™ Active Directory.

Avaleris was incorporated by founders of Alacris - the original developers of idNexus - which was acquired by Microsoft in late 2005 and the predecessor to ILM 2007.  Alacris had developed the idNexus products and successfully implemented this technology in over 25 large global accounts in industries including Government, Financial Services, Health Care and Pharmaceutical.  When Alacris was acquired by Microsoft, the product development team transferred to Redmond to develop the Microsoft version of idNexus - released as the Certificate Lifecycle Manager (CLM) module of ILM 2007.  The remaining executives, sales and customer facing technical resources launched Avaleris.

Leveraging our heritage of client success and proven solutions approach, Avaleris provides:
