Ron J. Mac Donell - President and CEO

Ron, a co-founder of Avaleris, is the President and CEO responsible for leading the management team in establishing the strategic direction of the company. Immediately prior to founding Avaleris, Ron was a founder, President and CEO of Alacris Inc., the developer of the idNexus Digital Certificate and Smart Card Management System, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2005. Prior to Alacris, Ron was the founder, President and CEO of The Exocom Group, a company providing IT professional services and solutions which was acquired by MTS in 2001. Ron holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration.

Anita M. Burwash - Vice President, Sales

As a co-founder and Vice President, Sales of Avaleris, Anita is responsible for leading the sales and account management activities of the company. Prior to Avaleris, Anita was a co-founder and a member of the management team at Alacris where she was responsible for all global sales and account management activities. Earlier in her career, Anita held a number of executive positions within The Exocom Group in the areas of Finance and Human Resources. Anita holds a number of Certificates in Human Resource Management and has a Masters Degree in Business Administration.

Hugh M. Lindley - Vice President, IT Security & Emerging Technologies

Hugh, a co-founder of Avaleris, is the Vice President, IT Security and Emerging Technologies responsible for the delivery of Avaleris' IT Security and Cloud Consulting service offerings. Prior to Avaleris, Hugh was the Director of IT Security Services for Allstream Inc. with over 14 years experience in the IT industry including over 10 years working in IT Security. Hugh's technical expertise includes Identity Management, IT Security, Network Architecture, Internetworking and Enterprise Management providing both high-level consulting services as well as direct involvement in system implementations. Hugh is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and English from Carleton University.

Marc R. Mac Donell - Vice President, Identity & Access Solutions

Marc, a co-founder of Avaleris, Identity & Access Solutions and is responsible for the delivery of Avaleris' Identity solutions and surrounding service offerings - and for the ultimate satisfaction of its clients. Marc has been awarded Microsoft's MVP status for his outstanding contribution to the Identity Lifecycle Manager (ILM) technical community. Prior to Avaleris, Marc was a Product Manager for Alacris, responsible for the idNexus for Entrust product, a digital certificate and smart card management system which was deployed globally in Fortune 1000 organizations. Earlier in his career Marc worked for Exocom, a Professional Services and IT Security Integration company, as a Senior Consultant and Developer. Marc holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Lakehead University.
